Sima, a loyal wife and mother who works as a teacher, is asked by her no-good husband who is so blatant in his cheating to cover for him and his mistress so he can go on a skiing trip with her. Because he can not go with his mistress alone, as she is an unrelated female companion, the group pretends that she is Sima's niece.

Teacher Sima (Marila Zaraii) is well liked and respected by her students.
Sima's no good husband Ahmad (Amin Hayayi) shows little respect for his wife and it is easily apparent that he is not being honest with her.
Sima waits up for her husband who has been out all night.
To save her husband from legal troubles Sima vouches for him at the police station that she is indeed Ahmad's wife and that the unrelated woman with him is her niece.
Ahmad convinces Sima to go along with the charade so the couple can go to a ski retreat.

When a mountain pass is closed, the group must stay the night at an overcrowded motel.
Ahmad is not shy about asking the waiter for alcohol, which they do not carry.
Sima hears firsthand how Ahmad talks about her when she is not around.
