Seyyed reluctantly buys the supplies to make a proper clerical robe despite his doubts on his intention to follow through.

An over friendly boy hustles Seyyed and ultimately steals his supplies.

Seyyed sticks out as the only student yet to be vested.

After tracing down the thief's whereabouts, Seyyed finds an eclectic group of downtrodden humanity, including "Pahlavan" (Bahram Shakeri) who enjoys composing poetry on the fly despite being illiterate.

The blind musician (Mohammad Soleimanpour) often raises the group's spirits with his joyful melodies.

Composing a petition, or at least going through the actions.

The group's de facto leader, Rostam (Mahmoud Nazar Alian) dictates the petition, whose recipient is God.

Seyyed brings some hot food for the group.

Seyyed's friend and roommate addresses his doubts, "..These are laborer's clothes, clothes for hard work. Well we have good workers and bad workers..."

Seyyed's decision.
